RAPID NeuroFascia Reset

Fast and Effective Pain Relief

RAPID NeuroFascia Reset

What is Rapid?

RAPID NeuroFascia Reset is a soft tissue, movement based, massage technique that addresses the central nervous systems role in releasing tension and restrictions within muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.

What is Treatment like?

Every session is a combination of examination and treatment. Evaluation of the muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves is done to find sources of dysfunction. Abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.

RAPID sessions may be uncomfortable during the movement phase of the treatment. This occurs as the central nervous system is engaged and the adhesions are broken helping to restore

normal function. Rapid treatments are performed clothed in comfortable attire!!

Why Rapid?

Clients are drawn to and usually prefer RAPID because of the faster, more effective results from treatment compared to traditional massage as well as other forms of manual therapy.

Neurological Hypersensitivity

Utilizing a biopsychosocial perspective RAPID addresses the body’s perception of threat and danger. By bringing the brain to safety most painful conditions and ROM restrictions disappear.

Using nociception and movement RAPID induces a combination of descending inhibition within the nervous system, and a powerful increase in vasodilation. These together offer near immediate and lasting pain reduction in our patients.

Old injuries no more…

Though many painful conditions appear to have an insidious onset, very often they are a by-product of an old -possibly minor injury where, due to unforeseen factors, full healing was restricted. Biopsies on these areas have shown the tissue to contain concentrations of neuroimmunological factors, or the “chronic artifacts of inflammation”, these once healing cells are now known to be highly sensitizing to the nervous system often causing pain and dysfunction.

By applying RAPID, we can flush these areas, cause an increase in endogenous opioids and cannabinoids as well as create an influx of neuropeptides that are known to destroy these neuroimmunological factors which in turn desensitizes the nervous system.

What is a treatment like?

RAPID Therapists use a a combination of hands on palpation, examination, and treatment. The RAPID provider palpates the tissues with his or her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Hypersensitive areas are treated by combining precisely directed depth,  tension with very specific patient movements.

RAPID sessions may be uncomfortable, this occurs as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function.

Why choose RAPID?

Clients choose RAPID because of the rapid response to treatment. This helps active individuals get back to life. RAPID is ideal for both acute and chronic conditions.
